Worship

Saturday Night Worship
At 6:30pm we have a casual and contemporary worship experience.  It is designed with engage different styles of learning and spiritual interaction to support the Scripture and open us to God.  Each week is a little different. Some might describe this emergent worship.

Sunday morning worship
Every Sunday at 10:00am we have a dynamic, traditional worship service with traditional liturgy and inspirational hymns.

Both worship experiences feature the same inspiring message and Scripture readings.

Sunday School

Saturday night the children are encourage to be with us in worship and participate.  There is a nursery and classroom for children for use if a parent.  There is no Sunday School program on Saturday night.

Sunday School starts at 10:00am.  The children are incorporated into worship during a Children's Time.  The Sunday School program is finished at the same time as worship, so after worship you can conveniently pick up your child(ren) from their classrooms.

What to expect?

Okay, so if you come for worship what can you expect?

When you walk in the main entrance you'll be greeted by one of the members of the church.  All the information you'll need for worship and the events at the church will be included in the bulletin that you receive or projected on the wall in the Sanctuary.

There is a Welcome Table with Bibles and other devotional materials for anyone to take.  Hopefully, these resources will help with your spiritual life throughout the week.  There are mugs and other promotional materials that you are also welcome to take.

When you enter the sanctuary, it is a modern/casual environment.  People connect and welcome one another before worship begins.

Following worship, in the gathering area just outside the sanctuary there is a time to connect with friends and get some refreshments and in the sanctuary you can connect with the pastor for any type of discussion or prayer.

On a Saturday night...

worship is a very causal environment with tables set up for you to have some soup or a snack and beverage.  The bulletin with church events and discussion questions is on the tables for you.  The order of worship is slightly different each week, so everything you need to participate is either on the tables or projected on the wall.  The music is contemporary and set to a guitar.  Each worship service has a creative element to it in which you will often be able to participate in.  I would describe that portion as a mini-retreat.  Our pastor is dress casually, but shares the same message that is shared on Sunday morning.

On a Sunday morning what can you expect?

All the information you'll need for worship and the events at the church will be found in the bulletin you receive on the way into the church. Plus, all of the lyrics, prayers and readings are projected, so use the bulletin, use the hymnal, use the screens - use whatever helps you to worship in a meaningful way.

Worship is what I would call a dynamic, traditional worship experience.  There is some liturgy, music (mainly traditional with a few contemporary elements), prayer, scripture reading, a message, drama, and sometimes group participation. In the end, worship is designed for inspiration for everyone from first-time visitors to long-time members.

Come and join in!
